Thanks for all your work in putting together such a great day, Corikra especially the fun raffle which would have taken quite a bit of time to organise. It was great to catch up with everyone again.

Fantastic event Corinna loved the hunt on the way to the event and it was great to meet up with the local cachers again. Thanks for all the effort you have put into this event.

We attended and had a pleasant day.
Glad we could make it and meeting and greeting old faces made it great.
Fine to meet a few new faces as well.

The caches I had put in for reviewing have unfortunately been refused because it is not allowed anymore to place caches in National Parks:
"We have received word from Queensland Parks & Wildlife Service, Department of Environment and Resource Management that the placing of a cache container in National Parks and other protected areas is illegal and the placer may be prosecuted. Rangers have been instructed to remove caches.

We have obtained dispensation to leave caches placed prior to 28th May 2009 in place, but no new physical ones are to be placed."

I will leave them in place for Saturday and bring copies of the listings for everyone who wants to have a go - no official logging online though


I'm looking forward to meet everyone again, or for the first time!

Thanks for organising this day - There are a couple of us from Ingham coming - Really appreciate the effort you have put into it - am interested to see who else is there and meet some of the local cachers. We are still quite new at it and it comes in spurts. My kids know that they owe me some quality time!!

Thought I'd use the new "announcement" function to help Cached find a lift out to Crystal Creek.
Also wanted to let everyone know that I submitted 4 caches for that area for review, so there should be 4 FTFs up for grabs

Just thought I let you know that I put together a "Raflle Cache Hunt", so you don't get bored on the way to the Event. Check the UPDATE on the listing for more details. Instructions for the Hunt can be found in "Fast and Easy" (GC2AYDA) or contact me and I will send them to you.

Also dropped a buch of Trackables, for everyone to discover or swap on the day.

I'll be there if I don't have to work that weekend.This area is better known as "Paradise Lagoon", There are BBQ'S, tables, toilets and a swimming hole as well as the camping facilities (and a cache).
