Description
A cache located beside a small creek.
On a walk around Herveys Range this spot is a welcome respite to stop and just let the feet soak in cool stream water.
The creek has water most of the year of course dependant on rains.
If you have kids that use the camps in Herveys Range then they have more than likely been here.
You may see some graffiti on a rock in the creek attesting to this. I suppose you can take them into the bush but you can't make them appreciate it.
The creek is just of Page Rd. There are many ways to get to the cache the worst way is to drive drown Page Rd until you are 20 metres from the cache and then jump the near vertical drop down.
Suggested Route:
Page Road turn-off from Herveys Range Rd is at S19 21 296 E146 27.699
Drive down the hill to S19 21.052 e146 27.944 and turn left down a track.
Park near the creek at S19 20.999 E146 27.901
Walk down the creek through the trees.
The Terrain rating is for a suggested 4WD car. If you are into walking it is not the most unpleasant walk from Herveys Range Rd. The terrain for walkers would be a 3
Enjoy some peace.
