Description

This one is situated about 6km from my other cache in this road reserve, Road  what Road.  This should be a quick find.  Plenty of safe parking on the side of the road then a short walk to the walking track and you are nearly there.  Back in the 1970's when the Tarong Powere Station  and Meandu Coal Mine were being constructed the Main roads Department decided that the D'Aigular highwayshould bypass the Nanango main town area.

They went ahead and surveyed the road, had it gazetted and resumed all the land. The only construction on this road is a walking track to the east of the actual road alignment.  You are looking for a small container just off the walking track in the bush. For the fit you can walk between these two caches.

Found the long way in & the short way out. Prefer it the way it is. Thanks.

My GPSr took me on a merry dance with this one so I was no help to La Kedi and The Marble as we began our morning of caching here. Cache was located after a bit of a search and we were on our way. TFTC

I wasn't feeling particularly fit today, so after finding this one (which took far longer than it should have!), we decided to drive to the one at the other end of the "road". I wonder if it will ever be built? TFTC ='.'=

Took a little longer to track this one down than I thought it would but got there in the end.

Our 4th find on our impromptu visit to Nanango. We overshot the road to begin with, but once parked at the correct spot, it was just a short walk to GZ - was tempted to explore further along the path, but will have to keep that for another day. TFTC John

Nice to walk through a little patch of bush that has more ferns (albeit small ones) than cobblers pegs at this time of the year. TFTC youngoldfella.

Took the long way around seeing the road is not there, and claimed the FTF on this one as well. Nice quiet spot
